As you probably know by now research underpins all that we do at AU Watch. Our aim is for everyone to benefit from all our research work. New research results and their implications for policy are therefore presented to a wider, non-specialist audience in our dissemination events. Many of these researches are written in non-technical language so that the ordinary citizen can understand and participate in the conversation.

We have two research-focused events providing invaluable opportunities to both share and hear the best new work in the field of Agenda 2063.
Our Joint Sessions of Workshops is a unique format event, bringing together AU Watch researchers for over five days. This intensive and focused environment creates a level of feedback and development not achievable in the traditional conference format. Bringing together scholars from across AU Watch departments who are all working on a common theme also creates networks that often lead to deeper collaborations, longer term research projects and publications.
Our 2063 Conference follows the traditional Panel format, and with hundreds of participants all over Africa in one of the sessions of the African Union. The event is complemented by a rich and engaging programme of lectures, roundtables, focus groups and receptions, providing many opportunities for networking.
