Introducing Our Scholars AU Watch believes in making big changes in Africa, so, we find and develop exceptional people who will be able to create real change in the world; in challenging ignorance and inspiring peace; in educating strong young women and men of Africa with potential and ambition to make the changes around them. These young people are offered opportunities to make a contribution to the work of AU Watch and to make a difference in righting social wrongs in Africa.
What do our scholars do? Mainly our scholars conduct advanced research and assist in lecturing at AU Watch Pan-African Institute For AU Studies. The scheme is open to academics at other institutions wishing to undertake research within the School which is similar to that which is already undertaken at the Institute. We welcome requests from individual scholars who wish to spend periods of up to one year in the first instance in the School pursuing research.
